CES 2024, the “Spring Festival” of the tech world, opened on January 10th in Las Vegas, USA. As a showcase of the future, CES sets the direction for the consumer electronics industry and the wider technology landscape.
One of the hot topics at CES 2024 was the integration of intelligent, AI-assisted, and digital innovations in automotive and mobility technologies, driven by the trend of electrification.

KOTEI, a leading provider of intelligent connected vehicles software solutions, made its debut at CES, presenting its latest products and solutions for the digital era of automobiles. Along with global tech giants, innovative companies, and tech enthusiasts, KOTEI shared its vision of “KOTEI Vehicle Software Dreamworks,” exploring new possibilities for future travel.
With over 20 years of experience in automotive electronic software, KOTEI has developed full-stack capabilities and core technology IP in intelligent cockpits, autonomous driving, and new energy vehicles. We have launched our own automobile software platform, KCarOS, which offers a rich set of software components, middleware, and development tools based on domain controllers and new E/E architectures, creating a new ecosystem for KOTEI’s SDV innovation products.
At CES, KOTEI showcased a range of products, technologies, and solutions, including the KCarOS central domain control platform solution based on mass production practices, and intelligent cockpit solutions powered by SemiDrive X9 and Qualcomm 8295. We also demonstrated the innovative use of digital twin technology in intelligent driving, such as the KOTEI parking solution (MPA) and KOTEI’s integrated parking mass production solution.

As technologies like 5G, connected vehicles, big data, and artificial intelligence advance, the future intelligent cockpit will become a multifunctional “third living space,” offering rest, learning, entertainment, and work.
KOTEI’s intelligent cockpit, a core business area, has always pursued cutting-edge technology exploration and R&D investment. In 2023, KOTEI formed a strategic partnership with the globally renowned game company Epic Games. At the exhibition, we introduced a new generation of digital emotional cockpits, designed with Unreal Engine, offering an immersive and interactive cockpit experience that envisions the future of digital life inside vehicles.

At CES 2023, generative AI was not yet a mainstream topic. However, with the iterative development of ChatGPT, AI has become the central theme of CES 2024.
KOTEI is infusing AI into automobile software development, creating the KOTEI Vehicle Software Dreamworks. Leveraging AI big models as the intelligent foundation and focusing on digitization and knowledge management, the software development platform is driven by intelligence, integrated with business data and industry knowledge bases, forming an intelligent software development system that builds a new model for next-generation automobile software delivery. At this exhibition, we displayed the five major product lines of the Vehicle Software Dreamworks.
